Disposable transfer pipettes for specimen handling

Disposable transfer pipettes move a measured volume of fluid from one container to another without decanting or pouring. This is a one-piece plastic transfer pipette in low-density polyethylene, with a large bulb and molded-in graduations to 3 mL, drawing up to 7 mL in a single draw. It is non-sterile, shatterproof and single-use — for specimen handling, urinalysis and compounding.

Transferring a urine specimen to a lab tube

In a drug-screening workflow, a transfer pipette — sometimes called a urine transfer straw — moves the specimen from the collection cup into a lab tube, such as the urine collection vacuum tube, for confirmation.
