What it is
Dynarex LabChoice 4232 is a white polypropylene specimen collector shaped to sit in a standard toilet bowl. Winged edges give a better grip, easy-to-read graduations run to 1,000 cc in 100 cc steps, and a pour spout makes emptying quick and clean. It is non-sterile, not autoclavable and not made with natural rubber latex or DEHP.
How it is used
Place the hat under the toilet seat, let the patient void into it, then read the volume from the markings. Pour the specimen into a cup or the 24-hour container through the spout, or measure output and dispose of it.
Choosing the right one
Use it together with a specimen cup when you need both a measured volume and a sample for the lab, or with the 3 L 24-hour urine collection container (43029) for full-day collections.
