What it is
The Dynarex LabChoice 4 oz bulk-packed container is the same clear polypropylene cup and blue polyethylene screw-on cap as the individually wrapped version, packed together in the case instead of one by one. It is sterile, has an ID label and a frosted writing area for the patient name.
How it is used
Bulk packing saves the time of tearing open a wrapper for every collection, which suits busy draw stations, clinics and labs that go through cups quickly. Keep the case closed between uses, take a cup, collect, cap, label and send. Single-use and disposable.
Choosing the right one
Choose 4254 when you collect in volume and do not need each cup wrapped. If you want every cup sealed in its own bag, order the individually wrapped 4253. For routine collections that do not need sterility, the non-sterile 4 oz cup (4256) is packed 500 to a case.
