What it is
Dynarex LabChoice 4256 is a general-purpose 4 oz (about 120 mL) specimen container in clear polypropylene with a blue polyethylene screw-on cap. It is non-sterile and bulk packed, which keeps the cost per cup low. The frosted panel on the side takes a pen or a label, and the cup is not made with natural rubber latex or DEHP.
How it is used
Use it for everyday collection and transport where the test does not call for a sterile container. Fill, cap, write the patient details on the frosted panel and send it on. At 500 cups to a case, it is the most economical 4 oz cup in our range.
Choosing the right one
This is the non-sterile member of the 4 oz family. If your protocol needs a sterile container, choose 4254 (sterile, bulk packed) or 4253 (sterile, individually wrapped). For a smaller routine cup, see the 40 mL (43020) and 60 mL (43021) non-sterile containers.
