What it is
Dynarex LabChoice 43000 is a dedicated sputum container: 40 mL of durable polypropylene with a matching red screw-on cap that closes securely to reduce the risk of leaks. A writing label on the side holds the patient name and collection details. It is non-sterile and not made with natural rubber latex.
How it is used
Hand it to the patient for a sputum sample, cap it tightly, complete the label and send it to the lab in a specimen bag. Packing in bags of 50 makes it easy to keep a supply in each exam room.
Choosing the right one
This is the only container in our range made specifically for sputum. For general small samples, see the 40 mL specimen cup (43020) or the 30 mL universal containers (43050, 43051).
