What it is
This Dynarex LabChoice container holds 4 oz (about 120 mL) in clear polypropylene, with a blue polyethylene screw-on cap. Every cup is individually wrapped and comes with a patient ID label. A frosted panel on the side takes a pen or a printed label, so the sample stays identified from collection to the lab.
How it is used
Pick this cup when sterility has to be protected right up to the point of collection, for example when cups are handed to patients one at a time or kept at a station where an open bulk bag is not practical. Collect the sample, cap it, write the details on the frosted panel and send it on. Single-use and disposable.
Choosing the right one
This is the individually wrapped version of our 4 oz sterile specimen cup. The same cup also comes bulk packed (item 4254), with no separate wrapper, for high-volume sites. If sterility is not required, the non-sterile 4 oz cup (4256) comes 500 to a case.
