Details
What it is
Dynarex LabChoice 43022 is the sterile version of our 60 mL specimen container: clear polypropylene, a white polyethylene screw-on cap and a frosted writing panel. Ethylene oxide sterilization means the inside of the cup is ready for samples that must start out in a sterile container. It is single-use and not made with natural rubber latex or DEHP.
How it is used
Use it where the test calls for a sterile container, such as a urine sample sent for culture. Open the cup only at the moment of collection, fill, cap, label and send it on.
Choosing the right one
The non-sterile 60 mL cup (43021) looks the same and costs less when sterility is not needed. For a sterile cup with a red cap, see the 90 mL (43023); the sterile 4 oz cups (4253, 4254) hold a little more again.
