What is in this range
Dressings from Dynarex's Dürma+ line, sold by the case: CuraFoam, FoamFlex, DynaLevin and DynaFoam foam dressings; SiliGentle silicone foam; DynaDerm hydrocolloids; DynaGinate calcium alginate; petroleum gauze and oil emulsion dressings; View Guard clear film; island, DynaGuard composite and DynaSorb super absorbent dressings. Wound cleanser, skin protectant gel, Skincote applicators, retention tape and measuring tools sit on their own shelf. Most product pages link the Dynarex sell sheet.
Choosing a dressing type
Foam and silicone foam dressings are soft and absorbent; the silicone layer lifts off gently. Hydrocolloid wafers stick without tape. Alginate forms a soft gel as it absorbs and needs a cover dressing. Petroleum gauze and oil emulsion dressings do not stick. Clear film keeps the area visible. Island and super absorbent dressings combine a pad and a cover. Use any of them as directed by a doctor or nurse.
Bordered or not
A bordered dressing has an adhesive edge and goes on in one step. A non-bordered dressing is held with tape, a wrap or a cover dressing, and can often be trimmed to size.
Sterile or not
Every dressing here is sterile, sealed in its own wrapper. Dynarex does not state sterility for the film rolls, retention tape, cleanser, gel, Skincote applicators or measuring tools, so we make no claim for them.
Common questions
Can I order less than a full case? No broken cases. Everything ships as a full case, in the quantity on its product page.
Are these latex-free? Most are not made with natural rubber latex, and the product page says so wherever Dynarex states it. Dynarex does not state latex for the film rolls, the cleanser spray, the Skincote applicators or the measuring tools.
