Details
What it is
A soft, absorbent polyurethane foam dressing with a gentle silicone skin-contact layer and a waterproof, breathable film. It has no border; the silicone layer holds lightly to the skin, and a wrap or tape secures it.
How it is used
Clean and dry the skin around the area. Lay the dressing over the wound with the pad centered, smooth it down from the middle out, and change it as directed by a doctor or nurse.
Choosing the right one
