Details
What it is
Soft calcium alginate fiber that turns into a gel as it takes up fluid, so it lifts away in one piece at changes. The rope form packs into deep or narrow spaces.
How it is used
Pack the rope loosely into the space, leaving a short tail, then cover with a secondary dressing. Change it as directed by a doctor or nurse.
