3.5 oz Graduated Medicine Cup

A 3.5 oz graduated medicine cup with integral volume markings formed into the wall, so they do not wear off in handling. It is a measuring vessel, not a container — where a dose has to be poured and read rather than counted. Food-contact grade polypropylene, disposable, single patient use. Sold by the case of 2,500 cups.

Details

Applications and uses

This is the only graduated item in our range. The bottles are packers and carry no markings; the 3.5 oz cup has integral graduations, which is what makes it a measuring vessel rather than a container. Where a dose has to be poured and read rather than counted, that distinction is the whole product.

Sizes and capacity

The cup holds 3.5 oz to the brim, with graduations formed into the wall so they cannot wear off in handling or wash away. Dosage cups at this size cover a single measured dose with headroom to pour without spilling — the practical reason clinics stock a larger cup than the dose itself requires.

What they hold

  • Oral liquids: measured single doses poured at the point of administration.
  • Unit dose: unit dose cups for pre-measured rounds.
  • Observed dosing: supervised administration where the container is discarded after use.
  • Rinse and follow-up: water or diluent alongside a dose.

Different settings, one requirement: a cup that reads accurately, pours cleanly and costs little enough to discard.

Material and compliance

A medicine cup touches the dose directly and is discarded after a single use, so the material question is the whole compliance question.

Food-contact grade polypropylene, free of BPA, phthalates and latex. Single patient use — these are not intended to be washed and reused.

Independent test documentation

Food-Contact Grade

The polypropylene passed independent FDA food-contact material testing under 21 CFR 177.1520, and is free of BPA, phthalates and latex. Single patient use, discarded after the dose — not intended to be washed and reused.

Independently tested by Unitec Laboratory Services, an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited lab.

Pairs with

Cups pour the dose; bottles carry it. The range runs 30cc, 45cc and 60cc, each a wide mouth packer. Cups ship 2,500 per case, so they do not pair one-for-one with any bottle — order to your own throughput.
