28-400 Child-Resistant Cap, Foil Seal
A 28-400 child-resistant cap with a 0.07 mm aluminium foil induction seal liner. The foil bonds to the bottle rim and cannot be lifted and replaced without leaving a mark, so the closure shows whether a container has been opened. Requires an induction sealer. Fits our 30cc and 45cc packer bottles. Sold by the case of 2,000 caps.

Applications and uses
An induction seal cap does one thing a pressure-sensitive cap cannot: it shows whether the container has been opened. The foil bonds to the bottle rim under an induction sealer and cannot be lifted and replaced without leaving a mark. Where a compliance requirement or a chain-of-custody question turns on that, this is the closure that answers it.
Sizes and fitment
This is a 28-400 cap and it fits both our 30cc and 45cc packer bottles — one cap line item covering two bottle sizes. Our 60cc takes a 32-400 neck and needs a different cap.
Induction seal liner
The liner is 0.07 mm aluminium foil induction seal. It requires an induction sealer, which is a real purchasing constraint worth naming: if you cap by hand and have no sealing equipment, our foam liner cap is the right choice instead. Dwell time is 0.4 seconds and application torque is 98–118 N·cm (8.7–10.4 in-lb).

Material and compliance
Cap in polypropylene homopolymer, liner in aluminium induction foil. Both passed independent FDA food-contact material testing and are free of BPA, phthalates and latex.
Child resistance is certified on the package system — a specific closure with a specific bottle, tested together. This cap was certified with our 30cc and 45cc bottles, so the certification covers the combination you receive. Tamper evidence comes from the foil seal itself rather than the child-resistant mechanism; the two are separate properties and this closure provides both. Application torque is 98–118 N·cm (8.7–10.4 in-lb).
Independent test documentation
The cap (polypropylene homopolymer) and the aluminium foil induction seal liner both passed independent FDA food-contact material testing.
Independently certified child-resistant packaging under 16 CFR 1700.15 (Poison Prevention Packaging Act).
Independently tested by Unitec Laboratory Services, an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited lab.
Pairs with
This 28-400 closure fits both the 30cc and the 45cc, so running two bottle sizes costs one cap line item instead of two. It seals with an induction sealer — if you do not have one, you will need it before these caps can be used.
