Buying guideStockinette, padding and choosing a width
Cotton stockinette
A soft tube of cotton knit that goes on first, next to the skin. It wicks away sweat and shapes to the limb without wrinkling. 25 yd rolls, 4 to a case.
Undercast padding
A soft polyester padding wrapped over the stockinette to cushion the skin under the cast. It stretches a little to follow the limb. 4 yd rolls, 20 to a bag, 4 bags to a case.
Choosing a width
2 in suits fingers, hands and wrists, 3 in a forearm, 4 in a lower leg or upper arm, and 6 in a thigh or larger limb.
