Details
What it is
A soft, breathable 100% polyester padding that cushions the skin under a cast. It stretches a little, so it follows the curves of the limb and goes on quickly and evenly.
How it is used
Over the stockinette, wrap the padding around the limb with about half of each turn overlapping, adding a little more over bony points. Then apply the cast.
Choosing the right one
The 2 in suits fingers, hands and wrists. Other widths: 3 in (3886), 4 in (3887) or 6 in (3888). For stockinette under the padding, see 3692–3696.
