Details
What it is
Knitted gauze soaked in a blend of petrolatum and sunflower oil. It does not stick, and fluid passes through it into the dressing on top.
How it is used
Open the pack and lay the gauze flat on the wound, trimmed to size if needed. Cover with a secondary dressing and change it as directed by a doctor or nurse.
Choosing the right one
