12 Panel Drug Test Cups & Dip Cards
Eighteen 12-panel urine drug test configurations across three formats: integrated cups, compact cups and dip cards. This is the point where the drug lists start to differ.
The cups and dip card use the same lateral-flow chemistry on a urine sample. The difference is collection and cost.

Buying guideEighteen configurations, and where they diverge
What a 12-panel test covers
The base ten-panel set screens urine samples for drugs including marijuana, cocaine, opiates, amphetamines and PCP (phencyclidine, also called angel dust); twelve panels typically add propoxyphene, tricyclic antidepressants or morphine on top of that set. With eighteen configurations, panel testing by count alone tells you very little — read the chart on each product.
Where the configurations diverge
The common variables are morphine versus opiates, MDMA versus tricyclics, and whether propoxyphene is included. One configuration adds a vacuum lid for transferring the specimen to a laboratory.
Adulteration checks
Several add creatinine, specific gravity and pH.
Regulatory status
Every twelve-panel configuration on this page is CLIA-waived. Each product states its status.
Ordering
Cups are sold by the case of 100 tests (4 boxes of 25). Dip cards are sold by the box of 25 cards.
Who orders twelve-panel screens
Twelve panels usually shows up as the next step up from a ten-panel policy — a program that has decided ten analytes no longer covers what it needs to see, without moving all the way to thirteen or fourteen. That makes the buyer a workplace testing program, a treatment or recovery service or a staffing agency screening for a range of clients, each working from a written protocol. The order is placed against that protocol, not chosen product by product.
Comparing and ordering
Read this page alongside the 10-panel below it and the 13-panel above it, or start from the full range on drug test cups. Programs that also need to send samples on to a laboratory will find containers, transport bags and tubes under specimen collection.
Before you reorder
Check the analyte list and the format against the last order rather than against the category name: several configurations share the twelve-panel count but differ in which analytes fill the last few positions, and the same count ships here in more than one cup and card style. Confirming both before reordering is the fastest way to avoid a delivery that does not match what the protocol calls for.
