Buying guideWhen to use paper tape, and choosing a width
When to use paper tape
Paper tape holds a dressing to skin and lifts off cleanly, so it suits frequent dressing changes and skin that marks or tears easily. Air passes through the paper, and it tears by hand.
Choosing a width
1/2 in suits fingers and IV lines, 1 in most dressings, 2 in larger dressings, and 3 in big dressings and wide areas. Every roll is 10 yd.
