Details
What it is
A sterile wool blanket soaked in a water-soluble gel. It cools burned skin, and the wool also shields against heat, flame and smoke. The sealed blanket acts as a barrier against airborne contamination during transport.
How it is used
Open the bag and drape the blanket over the burned area. It cools the skin and covers the patient for transport. Single use.
Choosing the right one
