Details
What it is
A strong cotton cloth tape with an open weave that lets skin breathe, and a hot-melt adhesive that holds firm. It shapes to the body and tears by hand. Not made with natural rubber latex or DEHP.
How it is used
Tear a strip and press it over the dressing onto clean, dry skin. Its strength also suits light support and holding splints in place.
Choosing the right one
The 1/2 in width suits fingers, IV lines and small dressings. Other sizes: 1 in x 10 yd (3587), 2 in x 10 yd (3588) or 3 in x 10 yd (3589). For the strongest hold on a moving joint, see athletic tape. For tape on a dispenser spool, see the non-woven spool tape (3580).
