Med Supply Lab stocks two different kinds of PURELL sanitizing wipes, because a wipe for hands and a wipe for a countertop aren't the same product and shouldn't be ordered as if they were.
Buying guideHand wipes or surface wipes, and what ships in a case
Sanitizing Wipes — Hands and Surfaces, By the Case
Both ship by the case, sized for a facility that goes through wipes daily rather than a single canister at a time.
Hand sanitizing wipes
PURELL Hand Sanitizing Wipes are formulated for skin and packed two ways: a 270-count canister in a fresh citrus scent, sold in a case of 6 canisters (1,620 wipes total), and a high-capacity 1,700-sheet refill in the same fresh citrus scent, sold in a case of 4 refills (6,800 wipes total) for facilities running a wall- or stand-mounted wipe dispenser rather than individual canisters. Both are meant for hands, at a nurses' station, a front desk or anywhere staff and visitors sanitize between contacts, and both work as a fast option where a sink isn't within reach.
Surface sanitizing wipes
PURELL Foodservice Surface Sanitizing Wipes are a separate product, built for hard, food-contact surfaces — tables, menus, cutting boards and prep counters — not for hands. They ship as a case of 12 flowpacks of 72 wipes each. Keeping the two lines distinct on this page is deliberate: the hand wipes and the surface wipes solve different problems, and a facility ordering for a breakroom or food-service area needs the Foodservice line, not the hand-sanitizing canister.
Ordering by the case
As with everything else in this line, ordering is by the full case, with the per-canister, per-refill or per-flowpack cost shown underneath so it's easy to compare against a current supplier. No broken cases, no single canisters split out of a case pack.
Stocking both lines
If a facility is stocking both lines — hand wipes at the nurses' station, surface wipes in the breakroom or food-prep area — ordering both from Med Supply Lab keeps the reorder on one purchase order instead of two separate vendor relationships for what looks, at a glance, like the same product.
Who orders them
These wipes serve the same buyers already reordering packer bottles, closures, gloves and hand sanitizer from Med Supply Lab: pharmacies and compounding pharmacies, hospital and health-system pharmacy, long-term care and skilled nursing, home health and hospice, urgent care and physician offices, and correctional health. Pair a case of hand wipes with hand sanitizer and a case of nitrile exam gloves for a complete hand-hygiene reorder.
Wipes are sold by the case, so a facility going through a canister a week can order ahead of that pace rather than reordering one canister at a time.
