What it is
A 2 x 2 in sponge of 100% cotton gauze wrapped around a cotton filling, with folded edges that keep lint down. Dynarex also calls it an exodontia sponge. The filling holds more fluid than a flat gauze sponge of the same size.
How it is used
Use it to clean, dress or pack a small wound where a thicker 2 x 2 helps. Throw it away after use.

Pick this over a flat 2 x 2 when you need more absorbency in the same size. For flat 2 x 2 sponges, see 8 ply (3222) or 12 ply (3223).
