Details
What it is
Thin non-woven strips reinforced with polypropylene fibers, with an adhesive that holds the edges of a cut or incision together. Ventilated so the skin can breathe. Sterile. Not made with natural rubber latex.
How it is used
Clean and dry the skin. Lay strips across the cut about 1/8 in apart, starting in the middle, with the edges of the cut held together. Leave them on until they come off by themselves or as directed.
Choosing the right one
Narrow strips suit small cuts; wider and longer strips suit longer incisions. Other sizes: 1/4 x 1 1/2 in (3522), 1/4 x 3 in (3523), 1/4 x 4 in (3524), 1/2 x 4 in (3525) or 1 x 4 in (3526). For butterfly closures, see 3615 and 3616.
