What an Unna boot is
A gauze bandage soaked in a zinc oxide paste that is wrapped on the lower leg and covered with a stretch roll or wrap. It is used as directed by a doctor or nurse.
Choosing one
The 3 in suits a smaller leg and the 4 in a larger one. Each comes plain or with calamine added to the paste.
