Details
What it is
A sterile, non-adherent dressing soaked in a water-soluble gel with tea tree oil. The gel cools the burn and keeps it moist, and the dressing pulls away cleanly at the next change. Not made with natural rubber latex.
How it is used
Open the pouch and lay the dressing over a minor burn or scald; it cools on contact. Secure it with a roll bandage if needed. Single use.
Choosing the right one
The 4 x 4 in is the everyday size for first-aid kits. For a narrow burn on a finger or wrist, see 2 x 6 in (1297). Larger areas take 8 x 8 in (1296) or 12 x 12 in (1299).
