What it is
A sterile compress of soft, absorbent cotton gauze that soaks up blood and fluid. It is sized for large wounds such as abrasions, burns and penetrating injuries, and its softness makes dressing changes easier on the patient. Not made with natural rubber latex.
How it is used
Open the pack, unfold the compress and place it over the wound. Hold it with a roll bandage or tape. Each one is packed on its own, so it fits in a trauma or first-aid kit. Single use.
Choosing the right one
