Three ingredients or one
Triple antibiotic ointment combines bacitracin zinc, neomycin and polymyxin B. Bacitracin, bacitracin zinc and neomycin ointments each have one active ingredient. Use as directed on the Drug Facts label.
Choosing a pack
Foil packets (0.5 or 0.9 g) are single use and suit first-aid kits. Tubes run from 0.5 to 4 oz. Bacitracin zinc also comes in a 15 oz jar.
