What it is
A flexible woven fabric bandage in bright blue, cut with flaps that fold over a fingertip, so it is easy to spot if it comes off. A thin foil strip inside lets metal detectors pick it up, which is why it is used in food processing and pharmaceutical work. An absorbent non-stick pad sits in the center, and each bandage is sealed sterile in its own wrapper. Because of the foil strip, do not use it near MRI machines.
How it is used
Clean and dry the skin, peel the wrapper, and place the pad on the fingertip. Fold the flaps over the tip and press them down. Change it when it gets wet or dirty. Single use.
