What it is
A flexible woven fabric bandage in bright blue, so it is easy to spot if it comes off. A thin foil strip inside lets metal detectors pick it up, which is why it is used in food processing and pharmaceutical work. An absorbent non-stick pad sits in the center, and each bandage is sealed sterile in its own wrapper. Because of the foil strip, do not use it near MRI machines.
How it is used
Clean and dry the skin, peel the wrapper, and lay the pad over the wound without touching it. Press the ends down. Change it when it gets wet or dirty. Single use.
Choosing the right one
The same bandage also comes in boxes of 50 (3760-50), a bulk roll of 3,000 (3760BULK) or boxes of 16 (3760UB-16). Other sizes: 2 x 3 in XL.
