What it is
A butterfly-shaped strip that pulls the edges of a small cut together and holds them closed. The narrow non-stick center sits over the cut, and the wide ends grip the skin. Strong, liquid-resistant material. Sealed sterile. Not made with natural rubber latex.
How it is used
Clean and dry the skin around the cut. Fix one end, draw the edges of the cut together, and press the other end down so the center sits across the cut. Use as many as the cut needs, spaced along it.
Choosing the right one
The same closure also comes in boxes of 100 (3615), 2 bulk rolls of 2,500 (3615BULK) or boxes of 10 (3615UB-10). Other sizes: 1/2 x 2 3/4 in (3616). For thin closure strips in six sizes, see the wound closure strips.
